Community Lunch is a weekly curriculum component designed to encourage community through a shared cooking and eating experience. Families volunteer for a Friday during the school year and come in to make a family favorite or just an awesome meal for the rest of the school. We sit together as a whole and arrange seating to encourage conversation with new people to converse with kids and adults alike, in addition to helping the lunch makers prep and execute the meal during and after the cooking process.
